This problem of USB is generally done after making bootable and then install LINUX operating  system from USB..

When this problem occour then our disk management looks like this...

Step to solve this problem..
1. Open command line by Administrative permission and write command   diskpart and press Enter.

2. Now write command  list disk and press Enter. in command line you see like this...

Disk ###  Status         Size     Free     Dyn  Gpt
  --------  -------------  -------  -------  ---  ---
  Disk 0    Online          298 GB      0 B
  Disk 1    Online         7509 MB  6619 MB

3. Now you select disk by select disk<disk number> Ex.. select disk 1

4.Now write command  clean

5. Now write create partition primary. Now  you see in your command line
"DiskPart succeeded in creating the specified partition."
